Privacy Policy for 8K Live IPTV Smart Player

TWST inc. provides 8K Live IPTV Smart Player (package: com.live.tv.ip.tv.player), referred to as the “App.”

The App is a media player that lets users access and organize media sources they add themselves. TWST inc. does not provide, sell, host, or distribute television channels, movies, playlists, or IPTV subscriptions.

Information handled by the App

The App may store the following information locally on your device:

M3U or M3U8 playlist URLs and files you add

XMLTV or EPG source information

Favorites, parental-control settings, and other app preferences

Imported library and program-guide information

This information is used to provide the App’s functions. TWST inc. does not receive or remotely store this information.

Connections to external services

When you connect to a media or program-guide source, the App communicates directly with the service you selected. That service may receive information normally associated with an internet connection, such as your IP address, requests, and provider login details.

External services operate under their own privacy policies. TWST inc. does not control their data practices. Only connect sources that you own or are authorized to access.

Data collection and sharing

The current version of the App does not collect personal information for advertising, analytics, marketing, or sale. TWST inc. does not sell or share users’ locally stored playlist information.

When you select a local playlist, the App accesses only the file you choose as required to import and use that playlist.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you remove the relevant source, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App.

Because TWST inc. does not maintain user accounts or remotely store this information, TWST inc. generally has no server-side user data to delete.

Security

Your information remains subject to the security of your device and the external services you choose. Users should protect their devices and use trusted, authorized media sources.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed specifically at children under 13, and TWST inc. does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

TWST inc. may update this Privacy Policy when the App or its data practices change. The updated policy will include a revised effective date.
